‘Richmond Park’ is a 20 foot sweeping panoramic view of a grove of trees within the 700 year old park, comprised of over 100 individual components imperceptibly stitched together, representing different points of time, separated by seconds, minutes or longer. The construction of this image subtly mirrors the construction of the park itself. The image is an attempt to capture or create a contemporary sublime in our current day, constructed ‘wild’.
'Richmond Park' is part of Frankfurt based, Union Investment's permanent collection. It is currently installed in the Bell Trinity Square Building, Toronto.
